MARY KELLY FOY MP’S SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD 2024
The hunt is now on for my annual Small Business of the Year award!
Anyone who knows me will know that I LOVE Durham’s small, independent businesses. They are the lifeblood of our city centre, towns and villages and they deserve our support. That’s why I am searching for my third Small Business of the Year which will follow in the footsteps of previous winners – Daisy Rose Coffee House and Vanity Hair Salon.
The rules are very simple:
From market traders, cafes, florists, sweet shops, window cleaners, vintage clothing shops and hairdressers – the list is endless and I want to hear which small businesses are your favourites.
You don’t need to be a constituent to nominate a business, they can be submitted by residents, visitors, students – other business owners can even nominate to support other businesses. This is all about sharing the love and promoting Durham’s small businesses.
Businesses must be based in the City of Durham constituency (if you aren’t sure, put their postcode in here – https://www.theyworkforyou.com/ if my face pops up then you’re in the right place).
Complete the short form on this webpage to submit your nominations until 23:59 on 24th November – voting will open the following week, with the overall winner announced on Small Business Saturday which takes place on 7th December.
FOR NOW – LET’S GET NOMINATING!
